Scholarship programs for vulnerable children

For the 2022/2023 school year, SHUMAS granted scholarships to 31 vulnerable children, including 17 female recipients and 14 male recipients. A majority of the recipients of the 2022 scholarship program were IDPs from the crisis hit NW/SW regions. Many of them are studying in other regions where they can freely go to school while over a dozen others are in Bamenda attending school where schools are open.  The level of study of the recipients is as follows:

• 04 in primary schools
• 21 in secondary and high schools
• 6 in higher institutions.
